SPS also has a Hostel, which was started with the persuasion of one parent who left two of his children as he was unable
to stay on in Shimla. He did not want his children to leave the School. There is accommodation for about 120 boarders in
the school. Parents are strongly urged to send their children as boarders. We believe that community life offers great
opportunities for developing qualities of discipline, tolerance and neighbourliness. Ease in English conversation is quickly
attained and lasting habits of punctuality, respect; politeness, tidiness etc are inculcated. Ours is a residential school
ensuring that students leave its portals as harmonious personalities with general ability for independent thinking and
judgement, so as to develop leadership qualities to become effective instruments in building a healthier society and a
stronger nation. The Hostel grew over the years and now more than 50% of the children are foreign nationals. In the Hostel we excel in personal care of the children. There are two wardens on the campus. The Director Mr.Pritinder
